Anyone can plant seeds.
Anyone can water them.
But, God is the ONLY one that can make it grow.
8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. 1 Corinthians 3:8-9
A restaurant is like God’s workplace in a sense of, we the employees/workers are serving for God or for that place. We do things to make it look “good” like how we live our lives. For instance, when you work in a restaurant, you wanna make sure it’s clean, organized, and in order so that things run smooth. Basically, you want the restaurant to look presentable on the inside and the outside. Also, you want to make sure that there’s communication happening with each other, so that everyone is on the same page. The same goes with our lives; when people look at our lives, they look for the good, but they also notice the things that aren’t. Our life on the outside may look presentable and clean and in order, but on the inside, our life could be a hot mess that no one even knows about. But that’s where God’s timing of growing comes in. We can plant seeds in other people’s lives, and our own, and water them ourselves, but God is the only one that can bloom those seeds into something beautiful.
How can someone pray for you if you don’t say what you’re struggling with? And how can you serve your tables, or run a restaurant if you don’t ask for help?
It’s OK to ask for help.
