It’s not a race

Thank you God, that this walk isn’t a race.

Thank you for putting my heart back in its place.

You’ve once again softened my heart & opened my eyes.

No matter how dark the paths I walk,

I know you’ll never leave my side.

You’re an amazing God & I thank you for all that you have done…

From the rising moon, to the setting sun.

Where the grass is watered,

The grass is green.

And wherever the truth is, the spirit will lead.

The beauty that surrounds us,

It’s all your works.

The joy that comes out of us, comes from the previous hurts.

I doubted you before, before I was saved.

The path you have set for me, I won’t put on delay.
